Modern Trends in Renewables

What is 0% Carbon Emission and its Significance?

Zero carbon emission is to ensure that the world is better, safer, and healthier place to love. Excessive carbon and greenhouse gas in the environment has led to global warming and climate change. This phenomenon has resulted in many of the world’s calamities today.  To avoid the worst climate impacts, global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions will not only need to drop by half by 2030, then reach net-zero around mid-century.

Humans and various types of industrial equipment substances are the culprits for this surge of global warming potentials. Fortunately, new eco-friendly fluids and gases are now available and have presence in the relevant industries. These actions will definitely and significantly reduce the carbon emission and makes the world a pleasant place to live.

The Paris Agreement

The Paris Agreement is a landmark environmental accord that was adopted by nearly every nation in 2015 to address climate change and its negative impacts. The deal aims to substantially reduce global greenhouse gas emissions in an effort to limit the global temperature increase in this century to 2 degrees Celsius above preindustrial levels, while pursuing means to limit the increase to 1.5 degrees.

The agreement includes commitments from all major emitting countries to cut their climate-altering pollution and to strengthen those commitments over time. The pact provides a pathway for developed nations to assist developing nations in their climate mitigation and adaptation efforts, and it creates a framework for the transparent monitoring, reporting, and ratcheting up of countries’ individual and collective climate goals.

NEOM City Saudi Arabia

This futuristic city will boost human creativity and initiative to the limit. Some even say that its beyond one’s imagination. Just imagine a desert transform into an ultra-modern city without fuel driven cars and a city which is highly ecofriendly. There will be many firsts and inventions and the new norm would be able to witness flying cars, robots with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and a massive artificial moon.

The eco-city with zero cars, roads or carbon emissions is called ‘The Line’ is part of the kingdom’s super mega Neom project.

“The Line”, would extend over 170 km (105 miles) and be able to house a million residents in “carbon-positive urban developments powered by 100% clean energy”.

New 0% emission project in Saudi Arabia

Massive solar parks filled with photo voltaic (PV) cells and concentrated solar power (CSP) complimented with mega capacity wind turbines with be the new future generation ‘farms’. All the infrastructures and dwellings will be powered by the green and clean renewable energy.

This 0% emission project is the mega Neom City Project. There will be no fuel driven cars but instead everything aspects of the infrastructure will be driven by clean and green energy.
