In today's dynamic and complex organizational environments, successful project outcomes depend not only on technical execution but also on the ability to engage, manage, and align stakeholders with strategic project goals. A stakeholder is any person, group, or organization affected by or capable of affecting an organization’s operations—whether internal or external. Prioritizing stakeholder concerns, understanding their expectations, and applying equitable engagement strategies are fundamental elements of good governance and organizational success.
The 10-Day Stakeholder & Project Management Programme training course offered by the Energy Training Centre blends two essential disciplines: stakeholder management and project performance management. It equips participants with the skills to navigate both the human and technical dimensions of projects—recognizing that managing people and performance go hand in hand. Through interactive workshops, real-world case studies, and hands-on simulations, participants will develop both the hard and soft skills necessary to lead projects that deliver lasting value.
On the stakeholder side, participants will explore frameworks and techniques for identifying, prioritizing, and engaging stakeholders, alongside practical tools for communication planning, behavioral analysis, cultural awareness, and principled negotiation. These human-centered competencies are essential for influencing without authority and building trust across diverse stakeholder groups.
From a project management perspective, the programme delves into value-driven methodologies and performance measurement frameworks such as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Earned Value Management (EVM), dashboards, and balanced scorecards. These tools empower participants to track progress, assess risk, make data-informed decisions, and optimize project delivery across key dimensions including scope, time, cost, and quality.
Ultimately, this programme offers a practical, integrated approach to managing people and performance—providing participants with the insight, tools, and confidence to lead complex projects and stakeholder environments with integrity and impact.
